Our Type 17 Roofing Screws are designed for timber joists, offering exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, and easy installation. These high-quality screws are specifically crafted for securing thin steel roof sheeting directly to timber joists, making them an ideal choice for roofing professionals, builders, and trades. Equipped with a precision Type 17 self-drilling slash point, these screws effortlessly penetrate metal sheeting and securely anchor into timber, eliminating the need for pre-drilling and accelerating the installation process. The coarse thread provides excellent holding power in both soft and hardwood joists, while the hex head allows for high torque application with 5/16\” drivers, sockets, or impact tools.
