Hex Lock Nut Nylon Insert Thin Height NTM NTE Steel Zinc Yellow 3/8-16 is a compact, high-performance locking fastener that combines a hex nut with a nylon insert to resist loosening under vibration. Designed for space-constrained applications, this thin-height lock nut delivers reliable locking action without adding unnecessary bulk to your assembly.

• Nylon insert locking technology: The nylon insert creates friction against the bolt threads, providing a secure lock in vibratory environments.
• Thin-height design: Ideal for tight spaces where standard-height nuts wont fit.
• Material and finish: Steel body with zinc yellow finish for corrosion resistance and high visibility in assemblies.
• Thread size: 3/8-16
• NTM / NTE configurations: Available in NTM and NTE variants to meet different locking requirements.

Perfect for automotive, industrial machinery, and equipment assemblies where secure fastening and compact profiles are essential. The nylon insert locks the nut in place, reducing the risk of loosening due to vibration, while the zinc yellow plating adds durability and makes the fastener easy to identify in crowded builds.
